This is the traditional Swiss hard cheese "Gruyère." The "Gruyère" trademark is a protected designation of origin, which means that only cheese produced in the cantons of Fribourg, Vaud, Neuchâtel, Jura, and certain parts of the canton of Bern can be called Gruyère.

We produce Gruyère under the trademark "Monteros." Monteros has a sharp, piquant aroma and a slightly nutty flavor.
